New Program Manager for Disaster Response

The new program officer for disaster response of SLB is Mr. Marc Reuben K. Cuento. He replaces Ms. Love Dorero who will pursue her masteral studies at the University of the Philippines. Mr. Cuento graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with the degree in AB European Studies-International Relations in 2008. He has worked for Gawad Kalinga and PBSP.

His main task is to coordinate and assist in deployment of operations and mobilization of disaster reliefs. He will also coordinate the implementation of disaster response projects together with partner organizations. He will help out in the newest project of SLB called "E-Ugnay: Managing Disaster Relief Operations." His appointment takes effect on 15 June 2011.
